Founder and Managing Director

Firm founded by development economist, columnist, speaker, radio personality and policy analyst Ayabonga Cawe in 2016. Ayabonga Cawe is a Johannesburg based development economist, columnist, radio presenter, photographer and activist.

He is Managing Director of a Xesibe Holdings involved in advisory, facilitation and content development across a wide range of fields subsidiaries Makwande Photography & Tulip Photography. He hosts #PowerBusiness on PowerFM and writes a regular column for Daily Maverick and Business Day. Prior to this he was Economic Justice Manager at Oxfam South Africa (OZA) working on policy advocacy and research. He has also worked as an Associate Consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, a global development strategy consulting and policy advisory firm. Now on Number one leading talk and entrepreneurship show in South Africa at Metro FM.

Business strategist. Her focus in finding strategic opportunities for Xesibe Holdings and helping the company increase its ROI. Sibongiseni quirky thing about her is the tendency to wear monochromatic clothes.

Her experience is in Financial Services Environment (7 years) with a comprehensive grasp and appreciation of the risk and compliance universe, including KYC, AML, BOP reporting, Public Finance Management Act and National Treasury guidelines & regulations. Internal Auditor, Compliance and Risk Analyst with 8+ years of experience in internal auditing and risk management; flawless preparation of presentations, preparing facility reports and maintaining the utmost professionalism and confidentiality. Experienced entrepreneur, founded and set up business operations. Leveraged business partnerships and raised capital from venture and development agencies.

OFFICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Office Management; Knowledge Management and Travel, Logistics and Expense Management. PAYROLL AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Payroll Administration and Xero Liaison. She's working as Media and communication officer at Oxfam South Africa. With an experience in Media and Gender Campaigns Officer at Oxfam. Partner support/ Stakeholder Engagement. Support partners with media and social media work. Keep an up to date “dossier” of relevant information, user- friendly situation reports and human interest stories from all programmes, and share and upload onto the relevant intranets. General support around communications products. Deputy Chairperson (onder primaria) Had the responsibility to ensure that the 1st years and seniors adhere to the residence rules and code of conduct.

Creative Consultant

Young professional who is skilled in the areas of development research, videography, photography, video editing as well as digital marketing. At Xesibe Holdings, he assist in videography/photography both on location and in post-production to produce photographic/videographic content for clients as well as the business itself. He also manage the companies social media websites and its digital marketing. Lastly, he also assist with research projects either doing research or transcribing interviews. The quirky thing about him is his goofy sense of humor and personality.

Also a great artist with and ear for good sound. HipHop being his genre and poetic nuance with creative edge. Majored in Philosophy and studied disciplines like Politics, Public Management & Psychology. The main focus of this degree deals with Development Theory in how government institutions function and the ideologies they adopt to organise their economies.

Visual Communicator, illustrator, and budding Art Director, she is the definition of a groundbreaking designer. Stylish, bubbly and in tune with who she is and the potential she possess. With a vivid artistic mind and an ear set to the pulse of street culture her work pays tribute to both her eccentric and understated personality traits.

Awarded Best Graphic Artist by Durban Creative Awards. Has worked in different multi-disciplinary agencies namely Framework Design Studio, Randz Project Group and worked for a brand named Home Cloud a telecommunications company as an Art Director. Enjoys working in social work and meaningful work.
